Indian equities tracking positive Asian markets marked fresh highs at the start in Monday's session. At the open, Sensex traded with gains of 0.33 per cent at 84,824.56, while the Nifty was up 80.7 points or 0.

The trends on Gift Nifty also indicate a positive start for the Indian benchmark index. The Gift Nifty was trading around 25,900 level, a premium of nearly 110 points from the Nifty futures’ previous close.

In the US, Wall Street ended flat on Friday, with all three major stock indices staying near record highs, as investors continued to focus on riskier assets.
