Updating maps of Southern California show where wildfires, including the Palisades and Eaton fires, are burning across Los Angeles.

Eaton Fire initially started 6:18 p.m. Jan. 7 in Los Angeles County. Since its discovery a week ago, it has burned 14,117 acres. A fire crew of 3,235 has been working on site and, as of Tuesday noon, they managed to contain 35% of the fire. However, investigations into the cause are ongoing.

While some evacuations may be loosening in Los Angeles County, officials on Tuesday warned that the worst is not yet over as they try to extinguish the Eaton Fire, one of the major wildfires still burning out of control.
