Best recommendation would be to release it back into the wild once the temperature rises. Find a suitable, warm hiding place for the snake where it can safely crawl into in order to weather the harsh environments and safely enter torpor once the temperature drops again. i have snakebites currently and have had them done a couple years ago but had to retire them ( until recently ) because of the damage it was doing because of how i was playing with them , ie ., biting on them and using my teeth to spin the rings i had in. so if you're able to have them in but not play with them at all that'd definitely help a lot , but you could always just glue balls / spikes ...
