I included a pic of the usps tracking number associated with the package and that it was tracking. They fixed the tracking and emailed the customer as well. I also let the customer know what happened.

Dec 5, 2019 · With UPS Surepost, UPS handles it initially but then delivers it to the recipient's post office instead of his/her home and then USPS handles it from there. But, if UPS is already delivering to the recipients house when a surepost comes up, then UPS will go ahead and deliver both directly to the recipient.

This is because Surepost is only supposed to be touched by USPS for the last mile delivery, which means UPS drops it off at the delivery office before it gets delivered to the address on the package. They only get paid a small amount from UPS to deliver for them. UPS is supposed to do the majority of the transportation of that package.

Every single time something is shipped to me via SurePost, once UPS hands it off to USPS for delivery, it gets stuck in forwarding hell. According to the tracking, my packages keep getting forwarded back and forth between 2-3 different post offices in the area for at least a week.

I dropped off my ups surepost package 3 days ago at USPS facility and then I realised that I should’ve dropped it off at ups facility. I went there today they just said that it’s gonna deliver since it has usps tracking number.

Apr 8, 2024 · Sounds like surepost so what is that exactly well it goes through the ups system until it gets to your local center where it is bagged up and then those bags are delivered to your local postal office. Then the local post office has it until they deliver it to you. It can take a few days to a few weeks.

Oct 22, 2023 · UPS SurePost SHIPPING Edit: 10/23/2023 3:46PM- Contacted USPS today (that's who does final delivery) and they said that maybe the delivery person scanned it as they were trying to deliver it but noticed it could not be delivered but had already scanned it and put it as delivered and that's why it said that for 10/20.
