[QUESTION] How good is an Alvarez acoustic guitar? : r/Guitar
Mar 25, 2021 · Made in Japan Alvarez guitars are excellent instruments in general. Older models made during the late 70's/early 80's were phenomenal deals and are quiet collectors at this point. At least to my knowledge with the caveat that it's been a decade or two since I looked into them.
Anyone Else Like Alvarez Guitars : r/AcousticGuitar - Reddit
Mar 6, 2024 · I didn't really know anything about guitars or what I was doing in the beginning of playing, and bought some cedar top guitars. I knew the sound was just off for the style of music. I eventually got the Alvarez. I just love the crisp large sound of it.. Granted I'm not exactly sure what brand guitars are popular with that style.
Why doesn’t Alvarez seem to have the following other brands do?
Sep 13, 2022 · The Yairi Alvarez guitars are amazing. But most Alvarez guitars that I’ve played seemed to lack the magic that many others in the same price range can have. For example, I love the Seagulls for that price, and for the price of a mid-grade Alvarez, I can get a livelier guitar.
$1500 Price Range-- Solid Wood Alvarez or Laminate Taylor?
Alvarez may still have a factory in Korea, I'm not sure. Again, quality instruments, just a matter of if you like the sound and feel. I mentioned Guild, a US brand although they are a mix of domestic builds and imports (guessing China, but not certain). Likewise, both Taylor and Martin have lines of guitars built in Mexico as well as the US.
[Question] how reliable/good are Alvarez guitars? : r/Guitar - Reddit
I have an Alvarez Ajsoc or something like that, the art series acoustic. It doesn't sound as good as my Taylor but it is amazing for how much it was. It was probably the best acoustic I could've gotten from the 0-1000 range. They're a quality fair prices brand imo and I still play that Alvarez because of how good it sounds and feels.
[NEWBIE] What are some good acoustic guitars with a $300 budget?
Alvarez. My favorite acoustic brand. I love all of theirs and my very first acoustic i ever bought was a $500 alvarez on sale for a little over $200. It still sounds awesome and i dont know if ive ever heard an acoustic i liked the sound of better. Any alvarez you can find is extremely good value
[QUESTION] Does anyone have experience with Alvarez acoustic …
Alvarez has generally produced acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars, including classical guitars, and for a time solid-body electric guitars and basses. From 2005 to 2009, the brand was owned by LOUD Technologies, which also owns Mackie, Ampeg, Crate and other music-related brands.
[GEAR] Yamaha vs Alvarez Acoustic guitars? : r/Guitar - Reddit
Of course, that may not be true anymore because all of the Asian companies have been putting out some crazy good guitars for the price (check out Loar, Recording King, and Blueridge) but the AD60 well at least compare well to any similarly priced instrument. Yamaha is OK. I think the brand has a lot more varience than Alvarez.
