Jul 28, 2020 · My girlfriend and I are getting ourselves an anniversary gift and we're choosing between the Dart Zone Pro MK1.1 or the newly released Nexus Pro. I've searched and I haven't seen any detailed comparison videos nor threads listing the pros and cons of the two.

The Nexus Pro X is a bit of a performance boost over the original Nexus, and includes a BCAR option. It seems nice, but dart zone's qc out of the gate is suspect at best.

Sep 28, 2020 · The Nexus Pro is one third the price but can be brought up to outperform the 1.1 with a combination of brass, a spacer/ spring, and a little work. The Nexus can also be tuned down to be game friendly and the barrel can fire almost any dart.

My biggest peeve on the original DZP Mk 1 was the lack of cross compatibility with other styles of darts. So, I was very curious to find out how the Nexus shows up. The prime strength was really a pretty solid linear relationship. Super beefy with high power spring and 2 spacers, and the low-power with 0 spacers was so light my toddler could prime it. IMHO, the arguments about the GF trion's better/easier fps flexibility are pretty much down the drain with a $13 easy-mod from Dart Zone.

Jun 9, 2021 · Highlights: Basically Dart Zone Nexus Pro. Internals are almost identical. Barrel needed some deburring, which improved fps of half darts by 7 and improved consistency. Foregrip may not be strong enough for a vert grip. Rear grip looks rubberized, is actually fully plastic. Short dart mag compatibility: Max, AF mags, Talons, Angled Talons with Angled adapter. 18 rnd clear Nerf mags were finicky.

I would assume this would make it more solid compared to the strykers system, where a rail piece attaches to the priming bar.
