Aug 30, 2017 · Perhaps Mindfactory just were at the point where they were going above the limit for several countries, but not so far above that it was really worth it to deal with the VAT. Especially since their business seems to be focused on low margin/high volume, which is more vulnerable to added costs. Depends how much they sell for to each country.

Disclaimer: Mindfactory is known as a particularly good AMD retailer. The market distribution between AMD and nVidia therefore does not reflect the entire German DIY market, but is skewed in favor of AMD. The effect can be estimated at 10-20 percentage points, which should make AMD weaker and nVidia stronger in the entire German DIY market.

Aug 7, 2023 · Mindfactory is also considered to be a good AMD seller, often taking first place for AMD SKUs in price comparisons, while they have to share first place with other retailers for nVidia SKUs. Consequently, it is hardly possible to draw good conclusions about the market share of AMD vs nVidia from these numbers.

I'm gonna be buying from Germany because our vat is 25% and your's is 19%.And a pc builder from croatia recommended Mindfactory because it is one of the cheapest retailers.

Jan 9, 2017 · AFAIK mindfactory is the only big hardware etailer which publishes its sales per SKU as @WayDownUnder91 said. I would cover other big stores as well (e.g. newegg), if I any other would also post their sales. And regarding meaningfulness: Take it for what it is, a German Top5 webstore for Hardware.

That being said: Mindfactory is a hardware giant, they order in ginormous quantities and get business discounts. MediaMarkt, Saturn etc are chains and have to pay for the entire supply chain, sales people's salaries, the stores are either build or rented, so that eats up a lot of money.

I've compared the parts on various websites (ComputerUniverse, Mindfactory, Amazon.de, Amazon.co.uk, CaseKing, etc) and MindFactory has been by far the cheapest. However, they don't deliver outside of Germany for non-business customers.

May 4, 2022 · Numbers grabbed from German hardware retailer mindfactory.de, among the biggest e-sellers in Germany (not the biggest though). For every product they publish total numbers sold, I grab those regularly and can thus calculate monthly sales data.

Apr 15, 2023 · Mindfactory is a (big) etailer that publishes sales numbers per SKU. The store generates about 100-150Mio revenue with graphics cards. These numbers here are the sales for this last week. Mindfactory has been proven to be a great indicator for mindshare and sales developments for the western DIY market. What SKUs are popular or not ect.

19 votes, 13 comments. true. thats really the best solution, check Geizhals (.de or .at works, i remember .at being a bit better, even for Germany, but that might have changed), and then go with the trusted Shops, caseking, mindfactory, alternate, Arlt, etc., as the others have said.
