Nov 12, 2020 · The first DPMS lowers were cast made on Essential Arms tooling. These were pre ban. If the letters are raised and the guard around the mag release button is "J" shaped, then it is a pre ban cast lower. I built several guns on the old Essential Arms cast lowers and their quality was very good with excellent dimensional control and fitment.

May 6, 2014 · I have a DPMS Panther that I'm trying to mount a scope on. I got the Nikon P223 and the associated P-Series clamps, but they won't fit on the DPMS Rail. To clarify, yes I did fully remove the clamp screws. I tried from both the front and the back of the rail. They don't even start onto the rail at all.
