Aug 5, 2005 · I’m rehabbing this kit (12/15/18) and the 12” is a naked orphan I picked up online. It’s quite scratched up which I was ok with since this is a players kit, but I figured while I’ve still got it apart - has anyone found success removing scratches from Cortex? It’s not the pvc wrap, they’re all cortex.

Mar 14, 2008 · I bought a 67 Acrolite online 10 years or so ago and it's one of my favorites. It's just an all-round decent snare drum in looks, sound and build. I can see some nice drums in the Ludwig Drum Book and Mr Curotto's collection. In the end Im guessing Acrolite, Supraphonic and Black Beauty are all excellent drums.

May 14, 2006 · I generally placed another shell under the one I was drilling to support it but please use something! I know you have already ordered the parts but this would be the easiest to turn hanging toms into floors. They are known as floor tom cradles and are about $75 or so from any online drum parts supplier.

Jan 19, 2019 · The dimensions are 16" x 24" on the kick.Toms that are 10 x 10" and 13 x 14". The bearing edges look like they're all in good shape. I got this kit because I was looking at piecing together a new kit and I specifically wanted a 24" Kick. Most other 24" kicks that were being sold as is online were at least $200 usually plus shipping.

May 2, 2016 · Hey all, I thought I would share my happy acquisition yesterday. A friend alerted me this set was posted online, knowing they wouldn't last long I had a nearby friend pick them up for me. My dad was a bass player and it turns out this set was owned by one of his cohorts. I remember seeing these drums being played by the original owner.
