Nov 29, 2023 · A Rubicon X has lots of tech and gadgets that add complexity to the build, so there's more chances for it to be held up. That being said, I've heard of long delays because of something as trivial as all-weather mats, or something as random as a train car sitting in a yard waiting for transport to the dealer.

Any suggestions on what model of wrangler to buy, i.e, Sahara, X, Sport, etc...not sure if one model is better than another for traversing soft sand. I’d like to get the I6 w/ auto trans so maybe pre-2006 years, maybe <$10k.

Jun 27, 2011 · Whats the difference between the Sport model and the X model? I am looking at a 2005 Wrangler Sport tomorrow and i originally thought it was an X model. It has auto,ac,cc,cd,4.0,soft top, and a few aftermarket extras...price is just under 15k....i apologize if this is a repost i tried searching....thanks in advance!

Apr 21, 2010 · The only major differences in the TJ style were the Rubicon, and then everything else. The JK's were available in either X or Rubicon (or Sahara) until 2010 where the Sport designation replaced the X. Now if only the "X" scraped off my paper work as easily as it scrapes off my quarter panel. I just think it's a dopey thing to name a Jeep.
