The direct drive turntable is without doubt the supreme design and it's patent allowed Technics to be the market leader for years until the patent expired.

May 7, 2024 · Lazr was obligated to report it this time bc it made up 10 percent of their rev. I believe musk is simply saying all those sensors he has been buying since 2021 is not needed anymore. he did use lazr sensors bc they are superior to validate their shitty fsd system.

Dec 19, 2020 · LAZR only has 1 product (long-range lidar) vs Velodyne which has a portfolio of products. Yes we can argue that for long-range Luminar product could be better, but reality is that those products are only important in highway, and radar with camera can do just fine.
