Feb 17, 2021 · Create a desktop shortcut for Writer. Open it to change its properties (usually after a right-click on the icon). The command to launch Writer looks like soffice --writer with other options present and probably a more complicated path for soffice. Replace --writer with --web. To launch LO in web mode, press your new launcher.

Aug 15, 2020 · The LibreOffice IS a real Integrated Office Suite. See the Task manager: When you use the Writer, or Draw, or Calc application, always will run the same soffice.bin, but with different options and settings.

Jan 17, 2018 · Just figured how to horizontally centre-align an image in my writer document. Drag and drop the image on to the page and resize if needed; Make sure the image is selected; The Anchor icon appears in the ‘Ribbon’ menu bar → further along is an ‘Align’ button, click on the down arrow next to it and alignment options appear.

Nov 12, 2014 · Using Page Break doesn’t work : it doesn’t shift images. Since the document is app. 200 pages long, I can’t do the shifting manually. There’s got to be a way to insert a page (I want new title pages for sections).

I can only recommend to test carefully before you use…. Maybe check sourcecode in guides for LibreOffice, availabe on the documentation pages of LibreOffice.org
