May 11, 2022 · I would consider a MedicAlert bracelet so you would be called right away from the ED if her distress was witnessed. On the bracelet, you can include ALS, use of BiPAP, loss of voice, how she communicates, etc.
May 25, 2004 · I also think it is great that you have adopted the bracelet idea in memory of your friend Lynda. Good for you. Yes, these bracelets mean so much. It has given all of Gail and Tim's friends, family, and neighbours a chance to help make a difference and has really brought the community together. Gail certainly has no doubt how many people love her.
Dec 28, 2009 · Debbie, I think the jewelry is a great idea to help fund ALS services. My thought would be keep it simple. I don't think it would have to "say" anything but could represent the fight of PALS, the need for attention to research, the need for funding support programs and for those that we loved that were so heroic in their journey.
