How does Meharry compare with University of Tennessee dental school, which is located about 2 hours away from Meharry. Meharry Dental School has two graduate programs: General dentistry residency and oral maxillofacial surgery residency.

Oct 14, 2009 · People keep talking about one school being better than the other. In the end, I personally think dental school is what you make of it. That being said, I would go to the interview because the only thing you have to lose is money. And with the cost of dental school, 800 or a plane ticket/hotel to Meharry is a drop in the bucket.

May 27, 2011 · most people who goto dental school for treatments are the once who cannot afford dental care outside. which includes poor white folks too. But the main point is, if you want to "HELP" people i would suggest you take any opportunity in any given school.

Often times, students apply to Meharry as a back-up school and just sit back in wait for an interview because of the 22 overall average DAT....

Feb 1, 2014 · Meharry is a private school and they take ppl from all over, with the preference being minorities. State residency does not matter because it is a private school. The class is usually 85%+ African American.

I am an Egyptian and I identify myself on the application as Black/African-American. I was born in Egypt as well. Any suggestions? Should I add this school or not?
