Dec 11, 2020 · Edit: go in game and boost the weapons yourself to check, I did it with alch smith and enchant, saw this outcome: steel sword better dps than dragonbone battleaxe after improved Dragonbone Battleaxe - 717 damage times 0.7 swing speed equals a dps of 501.9 because the weapon is slow, dps is harmed.

Jan 22, 2021 · One particular use they have is for power attack. Power attack have a static cost plus twice the weapon's weight. Using bound weapons, your stamina will last much longer. I will only consider the version of the weapons with the mystic binding perks. As you can get it relatively early, there are advantage to the weapons.

Believable Weapons changes too much in my opinion, takes away identity from many of the more fantastical options (orc and daedric, for example). Sure vanilla weapons are like paddles, but that is Skyrim look and feel, its not right if they aren't at least slightly padde-like.

Racemenu weapons is great for adjusting the premade positions. Say you want 2h on hip. There is a predefined setting for this you can select in the xpmse MCM.

Nov 5, 2020 · Edit: I think I found a way to solve skyrim's, or rather fantasy's in general, practicality issue. Asside from armor and weapons redesign which are just art, the game could feel more realistic is by making swords very effective against opponents with light armor and blunt weapons being very effective against heavy armor.

TT has a patch for Immersive Weapons which add silver axes. For pure ghosts Silver swords would probably be fine especially enchanted. For Vampires and Skeletons Silver Maces, Silver Warhammers, and Silver Battlestaves would be great to great through vampire's AR and take advantage of their weakness to Silver. Skellies are "weak to" blunt weapons.
