For example, you buy a solenoid and valve for the modulator port and a pressure regulator spring and make the necessary internal mods and do "something" to the valve body and plate.

A while ago we developed a valve Body that operated from OD via Paddle Shift with Engine Braking and 1st gear Transbrake. From there we took the idea of using 4th Gear oil to control release of the Over Run Clutch and applied it to the Road Going 4wds.

Aug 28, 2015 · Our TH400 transbrake (as well as several others) does not require the solenoid to be energized in order for the transmission to shift into reverse. Griner builds the best TH400 transbrake on the planet, period. The Coan billet transbrake probably comes in second.

And if we placed Griner at the top of the pile where does the ATI brake sit as far as consistency, speed, ease of installation and any other characteristics are concerned?

May 23, 2017 · Good day gentlemen. Having a problem with a TH400 and TCI Reverse pattern transbrake. The trans brake solinoid is working, checked voltage and current draw, 11.99 volts and 9 amps current draw(I used a shunt to measure current). When trying to stage car I bring up rpm to about 2500, engage brake and then flat pedal to limiter 5600 rpm.

The vehicle will be a daily driver, so I'd like to retain the engine braking if possible; I've seen a RMVB with engine braking from Jakes Performance, I'm just not certain if a Transbrake can be utilized while retaining the engine braki

Mine supposedly can leave in 2nd gear but I guess there's more to it than just putting it in 2nd and pushing the transbrake because mine doesn't hold. It just rolls on ...
