Sep 14, 2018 · The C64 Mini has been out for awhile now and in the United States you can get it at Gamestop for $79.99. I've been tempted to pick up this device, but generally haven't heard much about it since it released. I wanted to get the opinions of fellow Commodore 64 fans before I decide to pick this up.

Oct 14, 2024 · Today I discovered that Commodore still exists and they finally made a modern PC using a similar form-factor to the original Commodore 64. There is also a new version of Commodore OS based on MX Linux of all things. I'm usually a Speccy type of person, but this is rather exciting for what it is. Shout out to Retro Recipes on YouTube I guess.

Jan 25, 2021 · There are hundreds of C64 games and a page of 199 (iirc) Vic-20 games (this only works on The C64 Maxi and The Vic20). All of the games have a thumbnail just like the original 64 built in games and they all have a description of the game and screenshot as well. And of course it was really nice to switch to true 50hz mode.

Aug 3, 2020 · I just got a C64 Mini recommend me some games to add to it. I'll need to update it first but I got a 1GB Flash drive (which should fit a lot of games on it). I'm mostly into shoot 'em ups (which the Mini seems to only have a few).

Jan 11, 2024 · Their Commodore 64 mini was called "TheC64", not "The64". The logo for it actually worked out because the "The" was tiny and off to the side of the much larger "C64". Here though they completely botched it, with the most visually prominent part of the logotype being a big brown " THE ".

I'll mod the new joystick proper this time before it breaks. The new mini will now become my "travel" c64mini solution leaving this full sized conversion home when the situation calls for it.
