Feb 22, 2024 · So the rumor is that the PS5 Pro is coming out later this year. If true, I'm planning to trade-in my current PS5 to offset the cost. My concern is that the PS5 trade in value might depreciate moderately when the new console comes out. Currently, the PS5 has a trade-in value of $357.50 for Pro Users plus an extra $50 as far as a promotion.

If you go to most retail/online outlets, right now, you can’t get a PS5. You can when Direct/Gamestop/GAME/etc get new stock which is happening a lot more often than when the console was first released But it is not as easy to get as the vast majority of consumer goods are, which is go to a store/online outlet and buy the thing.

Jan 20, 2024 · GameStop employee’s will try to tell you the warranty process with Sony is terrible to get you to buy the GameStop warranty. I had some issues with my new PS4 several years ago and the process was quick and easy. They even sent me a box with a prepaid shipping label to ship the console back to them. Your new console has a one year warranty!

Nov 4, 2020 · If you preordered your PS5 in store through GameStop, regardless if it was Day 1 or September 25th, call them to see if you will receive yours launch day or not. Just got off the phone with my local GameStop and even though I preordered on the 25th, they confirmed I will receive mine on launch day.
