Hit the safari zone, select the specific gen of the mon you are after and it shouldn't take too long esp if u have speed up on ur emulator. But still, you can only start w/one mon and it always felt cheap to me to start a run with any OP mon like a legendary

Dec 17, 2023 · Around Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, I think Gamefreak realized that people really like to shiny hunt legendary Pokemon. The wormholes were a big draw / selling point of the sequels. However, Gamefreak also had the "problem" that they'd already established that the encounter cutscenes are canon.

I’ve got an excel sheet I put together using geometric probability and time estimates to show the odds of having encountered a shiny pokemon with different odds (say while shiny chaining in Let’s Go, breeding, legendary hunting, etc.) within a certain number of tries, and therefore within a certain amount of time.

Oct 25, 2020 · The method for shiny hunting legendaries in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon was a soft reset. You found the legendary you were hunting in the Ultra Wormhole, you saved your game in front of the legendary spawn, and you initiated the encounter. If the Pokemon was not shiny, you would reset the game and try again.

Apr 20, 2024 · Recommend shiny. You can catch legendaries in Classic and Endless. Especially Endless mode. You can still pull Legends in the shiny gacha but it's worth the boosted shiny rates on all eggs than legendary. Also the Legendary egg is 50% chance to be the featured one. I've caught Landorus, Mesprit, Spectrier, Regirock and Cobalion in Endless so far.
