Apr 2, 2019 · Overall: A little more out of the way then the other southeast dorms, but still pretty close. Pros: Nice rooms, big windows with an easy to work with layout. Higher ceilings make rooms feel bigger than some of the older dorms. Bathrooms are only shared with a few people. Cons: Weird issue with sound traveling through vents.

Mar 31, 2013 · There are two type of dorms there are the Southeast dorms, and there are the Lakeshore dorms. The Southeast dorms are considered the party dorms, and rightly so. Peace and quite is typically hard to come by, but you will meet a lot of new people and there will be a party to find pretty much every day of the week.

Im doing a semester exchange to UW in the fall 2013 and really dont want to be living in dorms with mostly freshmen. The UW housing website doesn’t really give you an idea about what the best fit is depending on ‘age’.
