Do Allegiant prices drop as you get closer to your flight?
Jun 11, 2005 · Actually, with discount airlines like Frontier, Allegiant, and Spirit, they do tend too drop prices significantly much closer to the date of the flight but which flight day/time and when they do it can be unreliable. We have booked the cheapest rates ($50 RT from NJ/PA to Orlando) as little as 1-2 weeks out.

Aug 18, 1999 · Allegiant does have sales occasionally but the flights you want may or may not go on sale. If you are comfortable with the $149, book it. Allegiant has tiered pricing, x number of seats at a certain price, when they are sold the pricing moves up to the next tier (ie: $67 to $79 to $92 to $104 just examples, not actual prices).
